Citizens Killed, Egyptian Ambassador to Israel Pull

The Government of Egypt recalled its ambassador in Israel following the deaths of five Palestinian policemen on the border of Egypt, last Thursday. Egyptians believed the death was due to Israeli army attacks when attacking Palestinian militants.

Quoted from page Associated Press, the Egyptian government is appealing the Egyptian ambassador to Israel, Yasser Reda, on Saturday, August 20, 2011. Trying to calm the situation, the Egyptian government offered an investigation related to the deaths of the border officials. However, Egypt launched an attack.

"Egyptian ambassador to Israel has withdrawn until we are given the results of investigations of the Israelis," the statement said the Egyptian cabinet.

This is the first time in 11 years pulled its ambassador from Israel Egypt. Finally in 2000 ago, when Egypt to protest violence by Israel against the Palestinians.

Amr Moussa, Egypt's presidential candidate, issued a harsh statement by the Israeli killing of this. He said there was no any party, including Israel which can injure the Egyptians without getting a stern warning.

"The blood of our martyrs who spilled when conducting their duties, will not be in vain," said Moussa.

Israeli soldiers since Thursday last week in a vigorous attack to the Palestinian territories, especially Gaza Strip border with Egypt. Reportedly, in the last two days, as many as 14 people were killed Israeli fighter jets bombed.

This Israeli attack is the return of militant suicide attacks in the Red Sea beachfront inn Israel, Eilat. In the attack, reported eight Israelis, six civilians and two soldiers, were killed. More than 40 Israelis were also injured.
